On August 3rd I had the privilege to capture the union of Marina and Andrey. They met many years ago, but when they finally got back in contact, he was living in Brussels. And she was still in Russia.
Never believe anything you hear about long-distance relationships. Because these two made it work!
First location: Place Poelaert and it's Palais de Justice.
We met up a few hours before the ceremony, as their wedding request was simple: Just them and the parents, city hall, two signatures and some photo's to remember this day.
So I made sure we had the time to go to their favourite places in the city to commemorate these moments.
Flowers by: Atelier Morgane Steygers, Ixelles.
Second location: Cathédrale Saints-Michel-et-Gudule de Bruxelles
The bride's dress from St. Petersburg, by Svadba Veka
The dreamy, light hair and make-up was done by the bride herself.
The bride and groom chose to celebrate with their parents, and once in Russia surrounded by all their friends and family, give a bigger informal party to start their new lives as husband and wife.
I adore small, intimate weddings. It's all about the love anyway, right?
Third location: Royal Palace and the adjacent Parc de Bruxelles.
The ceremony took place in the City Hall on the Unesco Wold Heritage site: Grand Place, the City Hall was built in the 1400's. A beautiful historic location!
I'm a sucker for crying parents!
After some group photo's, my job was done. The bride and groom took off to have drinks and an intimate lunch with their loved ones.
