What's included in this price?

I know that hiring a photographer takes up a big chunk of your wedding budget.

What's included, and why is hiring a professional wedding photographer so expensive?

• Wedding Questionnaire to fill out together. (All part of getting to know each other, a huge part of achieving images that reflect the true you. You could never get the same result from someone who's just there, clicking away, and not really caring about whom you really are as a couple.)
• Pre-wedding consultation meeting. Continuing the fun, with a drink!
• Engagement session. *
• An experienced photographer, who has been to her fair share of weddings. I have taken millions of photos, and spent months of my life editing, improving my style and my approach to photography and towards my ideal clients.
• A contract, protecting both you and me. And your money.
• My gear. Cameras, lenses, flashlights, batteries, SD cards, external hard drives, computers, editing programs… Assurance, retirement pension... My website, my accountant... They all cost money. And I need all of it to assure delivering you the quality wedding gallery and service that you deserve.
• My presence at your wedding. Think of me as another friend that is attending your big day. On top of assuring your wedding pictures, I will also chat with your friends, joke with the kids, dance with your dad... I will not be a fly-on-the-wall photographer but will be part of your day. The best way for me to capture the essence of it all.
• A preview within ten days. You'll receive a small selection of your gallery within ten days after the wedding. You'll be ready to change your profile pictures on social media and send out those Thank-you cards!
• Culling and editing. To me, I am not only hired for my capabilities to press a button and for my quirky personality. It is also my duty to not leave you hanging with thousands of photos you have to go through to pick out the best ones. It is my job to leave you with a manageable amount of photographs that form a gorgeous gallery you would happily share with your loved ones.
• Your online wedding gallery, with your edited images, protected with a password. So you can share your pictures with whomever you choose. Your photos will be downloadable in High Resolution and Web Size.
• All eventual VAT (21%) and transport costs within Belgium are included in the above-mentioned investments.
